This unique design eliminates running costly scrap while changing dull razor blades. With this assembly you simply push the index knob and a new blade edge rotates into position. Blade life
depends on the type of material being slit and how much the blade is indexed. Knives are preset at
the factory to allow for approximately 300 changes.

In addition to reducing the frequent handling of these sharp objects, the safety cover incorporated
into the unit eliminates accidental contact with the cutting edge. This reduces the occurrence of razor blade injuries caused by handling straight edged blades during replacement. This feature alone
should show cost savings in the reduction of medical treatment and lost time injuries.

The unit uses a re-sharpenable blade. When a new blade is installed, the old blade can be sent to the factory for sharpening. For installation ease, the body of the knife is designed so an adapter can be made to fit your present holder. If desired, a complete bracket can be made to fit your equipment rather than using existing holders.

Options include a timer and pneumatic assembly to index the blade on a preset signal. This
eliminates the possibility of ever running with dull blades. Other options include specially coated
blades for longer life as well as carbide blades for the hard-to-slit materials.
