SPLIT BALL PUNCH - SBP-30
Developed to allow greater flexibility than the Ball Swivel Punchette, BSP-3000, the Split Ball Punch
Model SBP-30 eliminates the limitation of throat depth. Mounted to a split frame, the SBP punching
assembly can be positioned anywhere across the width of the machine frame.

Using the proven method of ball and die punching, the unit can be supplied for either intermittent or
continuous motion webs. The ball and die will produce a clean edged round hole in a wide variety of materials. Hole sizes are available from 5/8” up to 3-1/2”. Precision alignment between the ball and die permit operation at lower air pressures. This results in greater die life and reduced noise.

Ball punches and die buttons are sharpenable. A resharpening service is available. The mounting frame is available in standard widths up to 60”. Larger widths can be quoted on request. Each punching unit includes the die button and holder, elevating screw, punch holder with guide bushing, and all pneumatic and electric controls.

The unit can be setup to work with any of our Continuous Punch Control units. This allows for
flexibility in regard to hole placement across the width of the machine. Time controls and slug
collection is available.
