HEADER SEALER - HS - 1400
For producing seals during the stop cycle of the bag maker. The HS-1400 Header Sealer has many features that make it a reliable unit for the production of a variety of products. As shown above, the sealing assembly is turned 90 degrees to the machine direction. This is for spot or compartment sealing. The sealing head can also be supplied running parallel with the machine direction. This is for header or reinforced handle sealing.

The sealing bars can be supplied for different sealing widths depending on application. The maximum
standard width is 3/4". Any number of seal configurations can be adapted to this unit. Standard sealing lengths are 16" and 20" other lengths can be quoted on request with a maximum seal length of 30".

The HS-1400 now uses an aluminum extrusion framework. This makes for stronger unit foundation and reduced vibration. Due to the rigid structure, the unit is able to produce consistent seals across the entire length of the sealing bar. Another benefit to this design change is reduced noise.

The latest pneumatic components are incorporated into the system. The unit uses compact re-buildable cylinders for seal bar actuation. Included in the unit package are the dwell timer and all heat and electric controls and machine mountings. Available options include a heated anvil for heavy gauge films.
