For high speed manufacture of draw tape bags, PARK AIR has integrated a number of proven systems into a complete bag machine attachment. By combining the proven technologies of ball and die punching and continuous sealing, PARK AIR offers a method to produce draw tape bags without alterations to the bag machine frame.

The unit operates on a continuously moving web. The unit is installed between the “V” board and
bag machine. Tape material is single wound sheeting from a jumbo roll and is fed into the folding assembly, slit and separated.

The bag web is punched using our latest design of the heavy duty Ball Swivel Punchette. The punching signal is supplied by either an electric eye for printed film or a measuring roller for plain film. This is selectable at the control box. The punched film is then passed through a series of rollers and fed up into the folding assembly where the tape material is inserted and the hem is formed.

The separate bag tops are then closed using a specially designed continuous band sealing assembly. At completion of the seal, the web is ready to be converted into bags.
