construction stops “DOWN-TIME” on the most costly thief in any plant. This multi-patented system
simplifies wicketing in converting plants, world wide. Two to four wicketing units can be used in
unison (on split roll machines). Standard unit has 2 to 7 inch wicket hole spacing. Fits any intermittent bag machine. Punches or slit (serrate) blades changed in less than one minute. Steel-rust proofed and aluminum-hard coated throughout.

SIDEWELD SAFETY SLITTER MODEL SS-2700B
The Sideweld Safety Slitter has an important function in the manufacturing of wicketed sideweld
poly bags.

It cuts the shorter lip of a "J" style bag 1.4" to 11.2" below the edge as a safety measure. Should the seal start tearing or zippering due to weak sideweld seals or to improper pick off, it will stop at the Safety Slit.

This small 7/16" long cut across the seal has become a safety factor wherever wicketed polybags are made. It is a complete air electric unit that is mounted in conjunction with a 2 hole wicket set up. The unit can be adjusted in the web direction and across the web. Blade assemblies can be fitted to our Super Punch banks and our punchettes.
