ANGULAR GUSSET SEALER - AGS - 5500
Produces Perfect Square Bottom Bags The Angular Gusset Sealer is designed to produce seals in side-gusseted bottom-sealed bags. The AGS-5500 allows production of free standing or reinforced bottom sealed bags. The unit consists of an independent left and right hand sealing assembly with the sealing bars positioned at 45 degrees to the machine direction. This allows for variations in the bag width.

The AGS-5500 makes use of today’s newest technology. The aluminum extrusion frame is extremely stiff reducing deflection. The unit uses heavy duty double acting pancake cylinders. Supplied with a heated platen, the six temperature zones are PLC controlled.

For heavier gauge film, a rubber coated anvil is inserted into the gusset. During the machine stop, the heaters contact the film from above and below creating a seal to within 0.2" of the fold of the gusset.

Options include special designs for deep gussets and heated anvil assembly for thicker films. The
unit is self contained and includes integrated bag machine mounts.
