AIR WINDER - PR - 1000
The Park Air PR-1000 Air Winder is an innovative concept for production of rolled products being
manufactured on intermittent bag machines. These types of products include serrated sheets and bags on a roll. Placed at the collection end of the bag maker, the unit will wind a relaxed loop of film without breaking the serration or stretching the material.

The unit has dual shaftless winding stations, standard for 3” cores. Both upper and lower takeups can be operated simultaneously and each will control its own tension automatically compensating
for differential in speed due to varying roll diameters.

The unit is controlled so that the incoming web is never pulled taut. A series of sensors on the face
of the machine control the speed of the nip rollers assuring a steady pull on the web. The unit is capable of speeds up to 150 feet per minute.

Each winding station includes a “lay on” roller so you are assured of even tensioned rolls. Edges are aligned as the film path travels through a series of bars insuring even edged rolls. The PR-1000 is available in widths of 24”, 36” and 48”. The unit is on casters for easy positioning behind the bag maker.
