AIR/OIL EDGE GUIDE - MODEL 25
Improve your operations with consistently accurate wicket punch registration. PARK AIR’s Air/Oil Edge Guide uses an air sensor system to keep wicket or other punches consistently the same dimension relative to the edge of the web.
Punches are mounted on the guide carriage. Sensors mounted on the carriage transmit signals
to the hydraulic/pneumatic system. This system activates the heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder which
moves the punching unit, following the edge of the web as it wanders back and forth. The new
hydraulic/pneumatic system eliminates hunting and allows for smoothness of operation.
Features of Air/Oil Edge Guide, on sensor’s command:
• Punches are mounted on guide which uses edges of moving web for reference.
• Moves the punch assembly only.
• Holes are always the same distance from edge.
• Edge of web gives sensor constant signals which are transmitted to hydraulic/pneumatic system.
• Heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder.
• Cylinder moves punching unit to follow the edge of the web assuring consistent hole placement
regardless of faulty web edge.
All that is required of operator is to:
1] Connect shop air.
2] Check and set 3 regulators.
3] Set punches in proper position on web.
